Suggest a better descriptionBring steak to room temp and sprinkle salt and pepper on all sides, lightly coat with flour. Brown steak in a pan, but do not cook completely. Add steak to roaster, and than add carrots, celery, peppers, and onions. Add the ketchup and mix together, finally adding 1/2 the can of beef broth and than add water until the contents are covered. Add the cover (or foil), and cook in oven at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours. Check on it occasionally, and if it appears dry, add more beef broth & ketchup.
