"I added a whole head of minced garlic, two bunches of spinach, washed and chopped with stems removed, and added three beaten eggs. I also did not shred the Gruyère. I just cut the cheese up into tiny chunks with my large knife and then threw the cheese in the pan mixture where it sufficiently melted. The pie turned out perfectly. I'll definitely make this again. "This is another keeper recipe from Ska( abbreviated). He’s a great cook! I have not had a bad recipe yet! I dropped the sugar to 1/4c and used 1 can of creamed corn, 2 cans of regular corn and about a cup of frozen corn. Added coarse ground pepper. Turned out great! Stirring was odd, but did it, and was great. Definitely recommend this if you need a delicious, big, easy side. Could be gluten free with no creamed corn. Cornstarch made the dish light!
