Also made it with the crust recipe and it was good as well. the only thing i added to the crust was a little sugar and cinnamon and it was awesome! crust was not sweet but deffinetly not like a cracker, had that great flavor of cinnamon and with that perfect filling, turned out to be a amazing Pecan Pie.12y

susanh ,I made this for our office thanksgiving party. It was so good two people offered to pay me to make them one to take home on Christmas. I used Pilsbury deep dish froz. crust instead of home-made, and I had to loosely cover the whole pie about half way through cooking to prevent the top from burning. This recipe is now on my "Must make every year" list.14y

jbbo93 ,I tried to make the crust and it turned out to be a gooey, sticky mess. I measured carefully,and there was way too much liquid. I'm going to have to throw it away and make a traditional crust. If the crust is that bad, I don't want to make the filling.15y
sherri ,Impressive! My new favorite Pecan Pie Recipe. I could find no faults with it at all and made no changes other than using my regular pie crust. The texture was perfect and it filled a 9" pie pan exactly. It did not cave in when cooled, have a runny consistency, or end up too sweet to eat more than a sliver. It is a very attractive pie with an excellent flavor. This is by far one of the most impressive recipes I have found as far as absolute perfection in every aspect of the finished product.
