tms428 ,Was a simple recipe to make even with very little cooking experience. We used egg noodles and added more by eye then recommended and some water to the broth to reduce the taste of sodium and left out the mushrooms and parsley. Would make again.9y

I made double to freeze away for lunches and dinners, as well as omitting the mushrooms and parsley. Instead I added Italian seasoning and chili pepper flakes for a extra kick!! aggierose ,Very tasty! I did not use the mushrooms or parsley because I didn't have them on hand. Instead I added salt, pepper, and a bay leaf (as suggested earlier). I also used egg noodles as my pasta choice. Will definitely become a staple in the cold Chicago winter!!!12y
ryanmbruce ,We made it with rotini instead. Ours came out a little bland. We added pepper and some Italian seasoning. We'll probably try this again with some more spices or something to kick it up a notch.14y
