"My picky 12 year old son gave this a 4, but he very rarely gives my meals a 5. I will make this again though. I am getting better at pan frying but need more practice to keep the fish from sticking to the pan. I used a whole bag of salmon, so I should have made more sauce. I am not a big fan of salmon, but I actually enjoyed it. "


1 tb Water
2 ts Dijon mustard
2 tb Soy sauce
1 1/2 tb Fresh lime juice
2 ts Vegetable oil
2 6-oz pieces salmon fillet
2 tb Honey

Original recipe makes 2



In a small bowl whisk together honey, soy sauce, lime juice, mustard, and water. In a small nonstick skillet heat oil over moderately high heat until hot but not smoking and cook salmon 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden and just cooked through. Transfer salmon to 2 plates. Add honey glaze to skillet and simmer, 1 minute. Pour glaze over salmon. Really delicious! I added a tiny bit of siracha in the glaze. The little kick made it perfect for me!

This glaze is AMAZING. I seasoned the fish a lot more than the recipe called. And I made additional glaze. The glaze is a little thin and watery so it does not sit on the fish as I would prefer but still delicious and still five stars.

Such a great salmon recipe! Sauce was watery, but instead of pouring it over I brushed it over the salmon

I used low salt soy sauce and cooked the glaze longer to thicken it.

Absolutely delicious!! I was surprised that I had all the ingredients and OH MY GOSH it was good! This is definitely one of our new favorites! Seriously if you do this correctly (which I found to be super easy) it is going to be phenomenal! Seriously YUM!
