Great recipe. Spicy or not to your liking. Translated from french by myself

"This was one a friend pointed out, and I made it expecting it to be kinda bland. However, I found it surprisingly good, and *super* fast. I did add a half shake of both basil and parsley, and I smidgen of garlic powder, not enough of any of it to measure. I also finished the last 2 minutes of my noodles in the pan with the meat while there was still juice left from the bullion, all the flavors mixed quite well."


Ingredients

500 grams Italian sausage meat; (mild/spicy or mixed)
1 large spanish onion; halved and sliced
olive oil
1 1/2 cup Chicken bouillon
500 grams Pasta; (fusilli or penne)
4 cups Baby spinach
4 tablespoons Parmesan or pecorino; shredded

Original recipe makes 4 Servings

Preparation

Heat oil in a large skillet. Cook onion until slightly colored.

Add sausage meat breaking it up and cooking it until it changes color.

Pour in a cup of bouillon and reduce to combine the flavors.

In a large pot of salted water cook the pasta as per product instruction.

Drain pasta and toss with baby spinach, salt and pepper to taste.

Warm the rest of bouillon and add pasta to skillet.

Mix in the cheese and serve.

The spinach can be substituted with blanched rapinis

Great recipe. The only modifications that I made after the first time I cooked it was to add half as much more Italian sausage and spinach. Delicious and fast.

I hope you read it as 1.5 cups broth and not straight bouillon crystals. That would ruin it. - Annie Tuning 3w ago

I must admit I hadn't thought of a spinach pasta with sausage, but it works together very nicely, I still prefer to use my most grinders to make my sausage, ever had fish sausage, yummy.

Very delicious, very easy. I love adding spinach but the kids normally don't, however there were no left overs and I would say it was a hit.

Awesome dish, easy to make and didn't take much time. Even my little ones enjoyed it. Only downside was the soupy consistency. A little too much chicken bouillon from my opinion but still tastes delicious!

Fantastic! Added 3 cloves of garlic. Pepper to taste and stirred in spinach when I poured in chicken broth. Husband loved it! I agree with others... Might try chicken too.

This was yummy! My very picky kids gobbled it up and asked for more....hardly ever happens! I added some garlic but otherwise easy, simple ingredients, and very good!
