bake in bundt pan
Preheat oven to 350(F) degrees. In a large bowl, beat butter and 2 cups of sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour mixture and sour cream, beginning with the flour and alternating with the sour cream and ending with flour. beat just until smooth. Combine remaining 3/4 cup sugar with the nuts and cinnamon. Sprinkle about 1/4 of the cinnamon mixture into the bottom of a well greased not-stick bundt pan. Spoon 1/4 of the batter on top, spreading with rubber spatula to smooth. Repeat 3 more times.
Bake 60 - 70 minutes or until done. Remove from pan and cool on rack. Make drizzle with cinnamon glaze made of powdered sugar, cinnamon extract and hot water or milk.
