A sweet and tangy chicken pizza that is made gluten free with a special crust. Can also be made regular with your own recipe or pre-made crust.
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees or follow directions for your particular pizza crust
2. Spoon and spread the BBQ sauce on the prepared crust.
3. Add half the diced chicken, bacon, and onion in that order
4. Top with half the cheese.
5. Add the remaining diced chicken, bacon, and onion in that order
6. Top with remaining cheese
7. Cook in oven until crust is golden and cheese is melted through.
The key to this pizza is in our choice of crust. My GF crust is a good bet (see recipe here) but others from King Arthur, Krustez, and the like are good as well. If going full gluten then I have another really good dough recipe here.
