Easy to make granola with only the freshest ingredients
Preheat oven to 250F.
Mix all the ingredients except for the dried fruit in a bowl.
Spread mixture on a baking sheet in an even layer.
Bake for 30 min.
Pour back in the mixing bowl to stir evenly.
Spread back onto the baking sheet.
Bake for another 30 min until slightly browned.
Stir in the dried fruit.
Wait until cool and then store in containers. I use Mason Jars for single serving portions.
I usually make a double batch at a time.
First time I made this it didn't have enough flavor. So I upped the Cinnamon to 1tbsp which is fine and went overboard on Salt (1tsp) which is too much so backed that down to 1/2. A little vanilla is nice. Tried adding ginger for more flavor but it is overpowering so don't go there. Maybe a little nutmeg?
