Suggest a better descriptionHeat oin in large saucepan, add garlic and onion. Saute over medium high heat for about 5 minutes. Add beef and fry till well browned. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in chili powder and cook for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except beans. Stir and bring to simmer. Turn down to low and cook covered for 45 minutes..Add drained beans and cook for 15 minutes longer. Ladle into soup bowls. Sprinkle with cheese and dollop of sour cream or serve with peanutbutter and crackers :).
