Chinese Pepper Steak Ingredients
2 pounds Round
steak
cut in 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoon Water
1 tablespoon
Cooking oil
1/2 tablespoon
Molasses
1/4 cup
Onion
diced
1 ea
Tomato
quartered
1
Beef
buillion cube
1 ea Green
pepper
cut up
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
Salt &
pepper
to taste
1 tablespoon
Corn starch
Instructions for Chinese Pepper Steak
Cut steak into 1 inch wide, 2 inch long pieces. Add onion and cook untill onion is soft. Add water and buillion cube and cook until meat is tender.
Combine seasonnings with corn starch and 2 TBL water and blend. Add to meat. Add more water if necessary. Stir gently untilthickened. Cover and cook 2 minutes. Then add tomato and cook for 2 minutes. Serve over rice

I used a frozen tomato leftover from my garden and it added the taste of summer to the meal. I also used dried, ground cayenne peppers which added a bit of a kick. Very good!

Good flavour. Didn't have green peppers so used red no difference in flavour. Next time I think I would add more soy sauce. I think it would be a good recipe for company not overly spicy and most in this area don't seem to like spices.
