A rich, thick treat.
"I haven't made this yet but I will soon. I am 68 yrs. old and I remember my Mom making this for me when I was a very young child. I had almost forgot about it until I saw it here. Thanks for the memory. I will review it again after I make it but I'm sure it will be a great treat!"- Geri41
Mix dry ingredients well (sugar, flour, cocoa, salt). Add 2 cups of milk and cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until you get a thick gravy consistency. Remove from heat and add the butter and the vanilla, stirring to melt butter. Serve over hot, buttered biscuits. Makes 4 servings. Kids of all ages love this for breakfast!
MrsBrown108 1 year agoIt was okay. It turned out more like a pudding than gravy but it soothed my sweet tooth.
