Cut the round steak into strips, approx 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inches.
Brown them in a pan with olive oil and the onion.
When nearly brown, add the mushrooms.
Add bullion cubes, salt, pepper, ketsup, dry mustard and water.
Simmer covered 60-75 minutes stirring occasionally until meat is mostly tender.
At this point, prepare noodles as directed.
Uncover meat. Stir flour into 1/2 cup cold water, then add to meat.
Bring to a boil. Simmer a few minutes, then reduce heat.
Add sour cream, stir to combine. Do not boil!
Serve over noodles.
Goes best with dinner rolls.
