Maple syrup and apple juice provide the mildly sweet marinade for these salmon fillets. Whether they are broiled or grilled, the fillets glaze nicely when basted. Everyone I've served this to seems to love it. Kathy Schrecengost Oswego, New York
kateyb88 ,This was fantastic! I'm not a big fish eater, but I know it is so good for you, so I tried this recipe. It was so delicious. Instead of apple juice, I used the same amount of apple sauce. I would like to try this glaze on dark meat chicken.13y
kclh4 ,Very good, four inches away from broiler burner may be a little to close on electric oven, probably just right on gas.13y
jadie012 ,This recipe was awesome! I marinated the fillets for about 3 hours and I ended up broiling it for about 5 minutes longer (20 total). My boyfriend and I both ate every bite!13y
mrmom27 ,I'm not much of a fish eater so take that for what it's worth. It was ok, but I didn't think it was that flavorful.13y
spinster ,Very good! I also used applesauce on the fish and as a side. Great for breakfast, too!13y
anastasiae7 ,I am not a big fan of salmon, but this recipe caught my taste buds and was delicious! Will definitely be a staple recipe for me. Thanks a bunch!13y
zekenz ,Like a previous review, my husband doesn't like fish but I am trying to do one fish dish a week. He loved it so much he asked me to do it again.13y
notfromboston ,Great recipe... The maple syrup turns into a great glaze giving the salmon a great texture13y
j0npau1 ,Simple and sublime! This is by far the best salmon I've made and probably ever tasted. This has been added to my weekly menu. Had to substitute garlic powder for thole cloves, and I only had sugar-free syrup but it still turned out amazing, and I'm looking forward to how much better it will be when I'm better prepared. Thanks so much for sharing this. Wow.13y
blazman ,This recipe was good I varied it a little by cooking on the grill. I also made a video of it. http://cookwithblaz.mevio.com13y
vtcivilian ,Great idea using stuff I had lying around, thanks! No apple juice, so I used apple sauce and I just had one 1lb fillet so had to add about 10 minutes on the cook time, but it came out delicious!13y
carsenis ,Yummy and different from all the repetitive standard recipes. Very easy to make!14y
_kristin_ ,Made this for my boyfriend who really doesn't usually like salmon - but he LOVES this dish. Only thing I changed - I put some bacon on top before broiling. Delish!14y
qwertz ,A new way of serving salmon that really majes a change. I loved the hint of sweetness from the maple syrup.16y
